I created the poster and leader film for the Seoul Indie-AniFest. At Indie-AniFest, there’s a tradition where the director who won the grand prize the previous year creates the leader film and poster for the following year. Since I won the grand prize 2020 with ‘KKUM,’ I was tasked with 2021’s work. I depicted the situation of being isolated in our own spaces during the COVID era, with pencils breaking and falling apart. Despite these challenging times, the animation expresses hope that if we pick up our pencils and start drawing again, we will eventually meet, even if we are in different frames.
