We often compare enduring long periods to running a marathon.

The students who tirelessly work on their thesis projects for one to two years are like marathon runners. They have to keep running without rest. After graduation, an even tougher marathon race awaits them. They can’t stop.

 

But on the day of the graduation screening, wouldn’t it be okay for everyone to take a moment to rest, pause, and have a sip of water offered by their mom?
